Nasir Saeed Khosa named as caretaker CM Punjab
LAHORE, MAY 28 (DNA) – Former chief secretary Punjab and Balochistan Nasir Saeed Khossa was named as caretaker chief minster Punjab on Monday.
Nasir Saeed Khosa has been nominated as Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister.
This was announced by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid in Lahore on Monday evening.
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that it is good sign for the democracy that we have agreed on one name.
He said Nasir Saeed Khosa is a reputed person. He expressed hope that the Caretaker Chief Minister will help in ensuring level playing field for conducting free, fair and transparent electoral process in Punjab.
Nasir Saeed Khosa is a retired senior bureaucrat who served as Chief Secretary of Punjab and Balochistan.
