NAB Chairman Javaid Iqbal lands onto trouble
ISLAMABAD, MAY 15 (DNA) – NAB Chairman Javaid Iqbal has landed in trouble over the issue of $4.9 billion money laundering press release against the former PM Nawaz Sharif.
Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice on Tuesday summoned National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal tomorrow over allegations of money laundering in India on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Sources said that a meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice over NAB’s controversial statement will be held tomorrow with Committee chairman Chaudhry Ashraf in chair.
The committee will review point of order presented by Rana Hayat, who had submitted Point or Order over the money laundering of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
