ISLAMABAD, MAY 06 (DNA) – Nishtar Hockey club has lifted the Inter Club Hockey trophy by defeating Jinnah club in the final.

According to details Nishtar hockey club presented an outstanding performance in the final match and defeated the rivals with 5-3 on penalty shoot-outs.

Nauman and Faizi from Nishtar club exhibited some extra ordinary hockey skills and completely baffled the opposite defence line.

The match ended in a draw during the stipulated time therefore match was decided on penalty shoot-outs. Nishtar hockey club goal keeper Faisaz frustrated goal attempts of the opposite side thus winning a victory for his team.

The President of the Islamabad Hockey Association Naeem Farani congratulated both the teams for putting some excellent hockey. He said the Islamabad Hockey Association will continue to perform even better in the coming days.
