Former President Zardari condemns torture of journalists
ISLAMABAD, MAY 03 (DNA) – Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned torture of journalists on the International Day of Freedom of Press in Islamabad.
He said that this torture raises several questions. The time to stifle the press has long gone. PPP has always respected freedom of press and freedom of expression and party strongly condemns this act of suppression.
