International Commission for Human Rights reacts over bloody massacre in Kashmir
LONDON, APR 03 (DNA) – The Chairman of International Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, has urged OIC and EU Chiefs to condemn the bloody Sunday massacre in Occupied Kashmir .
In a letter to the OIC Secretary General and the EU President, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo said that the Kashmiri protestors were met with mighty military power including pellet guns that killed several youth and injured more than 200.
He demanded the Indian government to stop gross human rights violations in the territory to the immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Kashmiri American Council has strongly condemned the contentious action of the Indian armed forces in Shopian and Islamabad areas of occupied Kashmir where 17 civilians were mercilessly killed and more than 200 injured.
The KAC President, Professor Imtiaz Khan in a statement pointed out that India has shown to the world once again that it prefers destruction to dialogue.
