ISLAMABAD, MAR 27 (DNA) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi assured on Tuesday that all necessary resources will be provided to the armed forces for the defence of the country.

He stated this during a meeting with Chairman Joints Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat at Joint Staff Headquarters.

PM Abbasi praised the valour and sacrifices rendered by the soldiers for the motherland and paid tribute to the martyrs. He expressed full confidence in the preparation of the army to combat threats and tackle various challenges.

Earlier, Gen Hayat welcomed the premier at the headquarters where he was presented a guard of honor by a smartly turned out contingent of the armed forces.
