International Conference: AIOU to hold two moots next month
ISLAMABAD:(DNA) The Allama Iqbal Open University plans to hold two International conferences next month to project new trends and practices in the field of education. Both events are expected to take place in the second and third weeks of February, read a statement released by the varsity on Sunday. This is part of the university’s concerted efforts to acquaint its students and faculty with the latest academic developments taking place in various disciplines, said Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui while presiding over a meeting to review academic activities planned for 2018. He added that the events will also enable students and faculty members to interact with foreign academicians to learn from their knowledge and experience.
