Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Captain (r) Safdar appear in NAB court
ISLAMABAD, NOV 07 (DNA) – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar have appeared in accountability court today (Tuesday) in connection with three corruption references filed against them by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
During the hearing, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris continued his arguments over his plea to merge Avenfield properties, Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references against him in the light of Islamabad High Court (IHC) order which was again opposed by NAB.
Meanwhile, summons of NAB witnesses were also dismissed for today.
