Lahore: Blaze at furniture market gutted several shops
LAHORE, OCT 21 (DNA) – According to details, fire broke out at furniture market near Kharak Nullah at Multan Road on Friday night which spread very quickly.
At least nine fire brigade vehicles tried to douse the fire and extinguished it after a hectic effort of two hours. Rescue sources said that several shops in the market were completely destroyed.
No loss of life was reported in the incident. However, furniture worth million of rupees was destroyed by the fire. Sources further said that the cause of fire is still not known.
