Polish Land Forces Commander lauds Pak’s effort in fight against terrorism
RAWALPINDI, AUG 17 (DNA) – Commander Polish Land Forces Brigadier General Wojclech Granowshi met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday to discuss the regional security situation.
The two leaders of respective armed forces met at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi where they discussed issues of mutual interest including defence, training and bilateral security cooperation. They exchanged views regarding regional security situation, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.
Brigadier General Wojclech Granowshi not only acknowledged the services of Pakistan Army but also lauded Pakistan’s role in the global fight against terrorism. The Polish armed forces delegated was briefed about various anti-terrorism operations and training activites of Pak Army’s soldiers.
The Commander of the Polish Land Force also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
