Pakistan wants to have sustainable relationship with US, says Aizaz Chaudhry
WASHINGTON, MAY 17, (DNA) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Aizaz Chaudhry has said that Pakistan wants to have a broad-based, sustainable relationship with the United States.
He was addressing the Ambassador Series Program organized by the World Affairs Council in Washington.
The Ambassador said close cooperation between Pakistan and the US in the past had yielded positive results.
He said peace in Afghanistan is our top priority as a stable and prosperous Afghanistan is not only in the interest of Pakistan but the entire region.
Aizaz Chaudhry said Islamabad wants systematic border management along Pak-Afghan border to effectively check the cross border movement of terrorists.
He said that terrorism was a common enemy and both countries should cooperate with each other.=DNA
