Three-day polio campaign kicks off in different cities in Pakistan
KARACHI, DEC 19, (DNA) – A three-day anti-polio drive on Monday has begun in Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan,FATA and Gilgit.
According to details, 1.5 million children below the age of five years would be administered polio drops in Karachi. 44654 polio teams have been constituted to achieve the target.
Separately, nearly 2.5 million children in Balochistan will be inoculated polio vaccine for which, 9,287 teams and 8099 mobile teams have been formed.
Sources told that 815 fixed points and 373 transit points have been established.
On the other hand, more than 40,000 children in Gilgit would be administered anti polio drops.=DNA
