Pakistan stands firm with Turkey in its fight against terrorism: Sartaj Aziz
ISLAMABAD, 15 DEC (DNA) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz has said, “The Government and people of Pakistan stand firm with Turkey in its fight against terrorism and extremism.”
He expressed these views during his visit to the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad to sign the condolence book on the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul on 10th December 2016, said a statement issued by the foreign office on Thursday.
The Adviser further said, “Those seeking to disturb Turkey’s peace and stability would fail in their nefarious designs.” He expressed deep anguish and sorrow at the terrorist attack and strongly condemned this atrocious act.
Sartaj Aziz conveyed his profound thoughts and prayers to those who lost their dear ones and extended deepest sympathies and condolences to the Government and brotherly people of Turkey.
The Adviser expressed hope that Turkey would defeat the menace of terrorism with its characteristic resolve and continue on the path of peace, security and prosperity. DNA
