Tariq Fatemi meets US National Security Advisor, discusses Kashmir

WASHINGTON: Special assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi met US National Security Advisor Susan Rice at the White House on Friday.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest were discussed including anti-terrorism measures, defence and economic cooperation.
Fatemi also briefed Rice over the human rights violation in occupied Kashmir and continued violence by the Indian forces at the Line of Control.
Rice expressed concern over tensions at the Line of Control. She added that the US supports peace talk for regional peace and values its relationship with Pakistan.
She appreciated Pakistan’s attendance at the Heart of Asia conference in Amritsar.=DNA
