PIA plane crashed near Abbottabad; 47 on board

ISLAMABAD (DNA)- A ATR PIA plane coming from Chitral to Islamabad has been disappeared. According to details the plane has lost control with the air traffic control office. The plane was to land in Islamabad at 530. The plane lost control with control tower when it reached Abbottabad.
According to sources the plane might have been crashed near havilian. Over 47 people were on board.We regret to inform that PIA’s ATR-42 aircraft operating as PK-661, carrying around 40 persons lost its contact with control tower on its way from Chitral to Islamabad a short while ago. All resources are being mobilised to locate the aircraft. Media will be kept informed as situation develops.

Army troops and army helicopters moved to site near Havelian
In the wake of PIA ATR incident PM has directed all authorities to immediately reach the site and start rescue and relief operations.
PiA has been directed to establish information centres at chitral and Islamabad airport for the families and All concerned .
Junaid Jasmhed wellknown religious figure was also on board this ill fated flight along with his wife.
