Govt set to stabilize economy: Info Minister

LAHORE, August 27 (DNA): Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says government is set to stabilize the national economy through constructive politics.He was addressing the 16th International Textile Exhibition in Lahore on Saturday. He underlined that the government is completing developmental projects expeditiously and in transparent manner.The Information Minister said a network of roads has been developed in the country which would help strengthen the economy.He said the government is also paying ample attention to solving energy crisis and for this purpose, many energy projects costing thirty six billion rupees are in progress.
Pervaiz Rashid siad the government attaches top priority to generation of cheap electricity for the industrial sector.
The Minister said that the menaces of terrorism and extremism will be rooted out from the country.
Earlier, organizers of the event told Radio Pakistan’s correspondent that more than 315 international brands from around 27 countries will showcase their products in more than 515 stalls. Five hundred foreign delegates are also participating in the event. DNA
