Tahirul Qadri announces sit-in in 100 cities on August 20
LAHORE, 11 AUG (DNA) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Thursday announced to stage sit-in in as many as 100 cities on August 20, media reported.
Talking to the media, Qadri demanded combing and Rangers’ operation in Punjab as well. He said he is once again mobilising resources to march against the government.
Announcing the sit-in, Qadri said ‘very large scale’ sit-ins will take place across the country on August 20. He said combing and Rangers’ operation against terrorists should also be carried out in Punjab.
He said Rangers’ operation would have started long time ago had it been Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led government in Punjab. The PAT chief asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif why India is fighting ‘war for survival’ of PM Nawaz’s rule. DNA
