Bahria University signs MOU with TV channel
ISLAMABAD, APR 20 (DNA) -Bahria University and Capital News TV channel have agreed to cooperate in the development of media industry in Pakistan.
Under the understandingstudents of media studies will participate in the internship programat TV channel which will help them to learn practical work. They will assist the news and programs departments for producing various shows.The students will also help the channel during special transmission from time to time. The practical work at the channel will enable students to learn use of advanced TV technologies.
The channel will use auditorium and other physical facilities of the university for recording its audience based mega shows.
Pro-Rector Bahria University Rear Admiral (R) Saleem Akhtar HI(M) signed the MOU on behalf of the University while Dr. Basit Sheikh, Managing Director Capital TV represented the channel.
Earlier the channel team called on the Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral ( R ) TanveerFaizand exchanged views about the proposed collaboration. The team also visited Media Lab of thedepartment and appreciated facilitiesbeing provided tothe students.
