Sri Lankan Army Orchestra performs at PNCA
ISLAMABAD, APR 05 (DNA) – A fifteen member Sri Lankan Army Orchestra comprising of classical and traditional musicians performed here at PNCA Auditorium in Islamabad.The event was organized by High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts.
The group is visiting Pakistan under a special invitation of the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan. The event was attended by diplomats, government officers, representatives of corporations and other dignitaries.
The orchestra performed classical tunes and presented Sri Lankan as well as Pakistani patriotic songs which was well received by the audience.=DNA
