Pakistan, India Foreign Secretaries to meet next month
ISLAMABAD, 26 DEC (DNA) – Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said major political parties in Pakistan had welcomed the goodwill visit of Indian Prime Minister to Pakistan.
In an interview in Islamabad, he said major political parties, including the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, had the consensus on peace and enhanced people-to-people contacts between the two countries.
He said during the meeting both the leaders have agreed the two countries’ foreign secretaries would meet in Islamabad in the middle of January to finalize the schedule and modalities for the resumption of Comprehensive Dialogue. DNA
