Eleven outlaws held; wine, weapon seized
ISLAMABAD, 26 DEC (DNA) – Islamabad Police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and wine, heroine, weapon, mobile phone and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Khanna police arrested bootlegger Asif and recovered 25 liters wine from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested accuse Shakeel and recovered 120 gram heroine from him.
Kohsar police arrested two accuse Imran Iqbal and Danyal Ali and recovered two wine bottles from their possession.Police team also arrested accuse Muhammad Ayaz and recovered stolen mobile from him.
CIA police arrested two accused Baggi Zaman and Fukhar Zaman and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition and one dagger from their possession. Sihala police arrested accuse Muhammad Akram and recovered two wine bottles from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile three professional alm-seekers were also arrested and action has been initiated against them.SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
