Alexander to pay first ever visit by a Belarusian President to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus is visiting Islamabad on May 26-27 at the invitation of the President of Pakistan, a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said on Friday.
It may be added that this visit of President Alexander Lukashenko will be the first ever visit by a Belarusian President to Pakistan.
The President of Belarus is leading a high powered Delegation. A strong Business Delegation will precede the Presidential entourage for the first Pakistan Belarus Business and Investment Forum that will be held on 25th May.
During the course of the State visit, the Belarusian President will be hosted to a banquet by the President.
He will have official talks with the Prime Minister who will also host a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary. A number of important Agreements/MOUs are expected to be signed.
Pakistan and Belarus enjoy cordial relations. Belarus established its resident Mission in Islamabad in November 2014.
President Lukashenko’s visit will help in strengthening the exiting ties between the two countries. =DNA
