Coffins of diplomats’ spouses transported to respective countries

ISLAMABAD, 15 MAY, (DNA) – A special aircraft C-130, carrying mortal remains of Datin Habibah Binti Mahmud, spouse of Dato Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia, who passed away during the tragic helicopter accident of 8 May 2015, left Islamabad for Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, and an officer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accompanied the Malaysian High Commissioner and family members of the deceased, on the special plane.
Earlier, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Defence Production and an officer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, travelled to Indonesia on 13 May 2015, with the mortal remains of Madam Heri Listyawati, spouse of Burhan Muhammad, Ambassador of Indonesia.
On both the occasions, dignified ceremonies with guard of honour, paying respects to the deceased, were held at Noor Khan Airbase, Islamabad before departure. =DNA
