Bangladeshi PM to visit China from Jun 24-26
BEIJING, Jun 22: At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman will undertake an official visit to China from June 24 to 26, a spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press briefing that during the visit, Rahman would also attend the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) in Dalian.
He noted that China and Bangladesh are traditional friendly neighbors and comprehensive strategic partners. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, bilateral relations have continued to develop steadily in recent years.
Guo added that political mutual trust between China and Bangladesh has deepened, while practical cooperation has delivered tangible outcomes and brought benefits to the peoples of both countries.
