Dr. Akmal Sultan to lead Ukraine SME business outreach
ISLAMABAD, MAY 13 /DNA/ – Markian Chuckhuk, Ambassador of Ukraine, welcomed Dr. Syed Akmal Sultan as the new Representative of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Small, Medium, and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine at the Embassy of Ukraine.
Ambassador Chuckhuk provided comprehensive guidelines to the newly appointed Representative, advising Dr. Sultan to work closely with Mr. Iurii Komogorov, Second Secretary of the Embassy. He thanked Mr. Atif Farooqi, Advisor and COO of the Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC), for introducing Dr. Sultan.
The meeting emphasized the Union’s core priorities of advancing SME development, facilitating privatized enterprise partnerships, and expanding international trade corridors.
The discussion also took place on the trilateral trade opportunities between Ukraine, Romania, and Pakistan in agriculture, textiles, energy, and ICT sectors.
Atif Farooqi said, “The trilateral framework between Ukraine, Romania, and Pakistan opens transformative trade corridors that will strengthen economic ties across three continents. By connecting Ukrainian entrepreneurship, Romanian gateway access, and Pakistani manufacturing excellence, will create sustainable growth opportunities for SMEs, setting a new benchmark for multi-country business cooperation.”
Mr. Sohail Shamim Firpo, Chairman PRBC, also attended the meeting.
