Start of general Quran competition for public education students in governorates
SANA’A, FEB 24: The General Quran Competition for public education students in the governorates for the academic year 1447 AH began in Sana’a, organized by the General Administration of School Activities at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
At the opening of the competition, the Undersecretaries of the Basic Education Sector at the Ministry of Education, Hadi Ammar, and the Youth Sector at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Abdullah Al-Razahi, congratulated the 18 participating students in the competition, which lasts five days, for their victory at their governorate level and reaching the final stage to compete at the republic level.
They pointed to the role of the competition in enhancing the spirit of competition among students for recitation, intonation, and memorization of the Book of God through competition in the two categories: 15 parts and the complete Quran.
Ammar and Al-Razahi affirmed the importance of understanding the verses of the Book of God, contemplating their meanings, and being keen to apply them as a way of life and Quranic culture in practical reality, praising the efforts of everyone who contributed to the success of this competition.
