PTI, govt reach agreement; no long march only procession

ISLAMABAD: It is learnt that a deal has been struck between the PTI and the government and it is expected that now there will be no dharna in Islamabad. The PTI will come to Islamabad and hold a protest demonstration and then disperse. The deal is reached with the help of the Establishment.
According to sources that the Establishment facilitated a deal between the PTI and the government. In return the government may announce dissolution of the assemblies. Another option is that the PTI MPs return to the parliament, become part of the proceedings for election reforms etc and then Assembly shall be dissolved.It may be mentioned here that the Shehbaz govt had already decided to step down and pave the way for the fresh elections, however it wanted to have IMF deal first. But the PTI suddenly announced the long march date, which turned the things topsy-turvy.According to sources, Asad Umar, Pervez Khatak and Shah Mahmood Qureshi took part in the Establishment-led talks. From govt side Ayaz Sadiq, Asad Mahmood and Yousaf Raza Gillani. Talks, which continued for at least three hours yielded positive result in the sense that both sides agreed to avoid violence and bloodshed.
