10,000 new businesses launched under Kamyab Jawan Programme: Usman Dar
Islamabad : Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar says ten thousand new businesses have been launched under Kamyab Jawan Programme in the country.
Addressing a certificate and loan distribution ceremony of Kamyab Jawan Programme in Islamabad, he said an amount of eight billion rupees has been disbursed among ten thousand young people under the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme.
Usman Dar said 170,000 youth are being imparted trainings in traditional and high-tech trades under the ‘Hunarmand Pakistan’ (Skill for All) programme.
He said around 37,000 youth have completed their six-month courses in traditional and high-tech trades under its first phase, while training of another batch of 55,000 youth is underway.
He said National Vocational and Technical Training Commission will soon enroll the rest of targeted youth for various trainings under the programme.
