Islamabad : Aqeel Khan and Heer Ashiq won their matches in Men’s Single Category on the fourth day of the Kulsoom Saifullah Khan Ranking Tennis Championship.

Aqeel beat Abdul Haider after a one-sided contest by the scorers of 6-1 and 6-2. Meanwhile, Heera outclassed Hasheesh Kumar by 2-0. His scores were 6-4 and 6-2.

Mudassar Murtaza, Shahzad Khan, and Mohammad Abid have advanced to the next round in the event.

In women’s single, Noor Malik defeated Urooj Fatima by 6-0, 6-0 while Aureen Javed beat Auren Jaisia by 6-1, 6-0.

The pair of Mohammad Abid and Waqas Malik beat opponents Ahmed Asjad and Subhan Bin Salik by 6-3 and 6-2.

Whereas, Yousuf Khalil and Heera Ashiq paired up to beat Ahmed Kamil and Ibrahim Umar by 2-0.
