Armenia, Azerbaijan agree to declare ‘humanitarian truce’

Yerevan, Oct 18 : Armenia and Azerbaijan said on Saturday they had agreed to declare a “humanitarian truce” from midnight Sunday, the foreign ministries of the two countries said in joint statements.
“The Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan have agreed to a humanitarian truce as of October 18, 00h00 local time,” Armenia’s foreign ministry said. The foreign ministry in Azerbaijan confirmed the move in an identical statement.
