Embassy thanks Islamic Varsity admin for taking care of Indonesian students
ISLAMABAD(DNA) -A high-level delegation of Embassy of Indonesia called on Provost Men’s Hostels at new campus.
The delegation was headed by Colonel Dody Mukhtar Taufik, Defence Attache of the Indonesian Embassy / Embassy’s Covid-19 Task Force Commander.
Other members of the delegation were Denny Tri Basuki, Counsellor, Head of Chancery / Socio-cultural Affairs of the Indonesian Embassy, Sulaiman, First Secretary of Political Affairs of the Embassy.
On behalf of the Ambassador of Indonesia, the delegation extended profound gratitude to the President, IIUI for taking good care of Indonesian students in IIUI hostels.
They appreciated the role of university management in providing the utmost facilities and comfort. They also assured that the Indonesian Embassy shall provide crockery, groceries and monetary support to Indonesian students during the month of Ramadan Kareem.
They also informed that every Saturday after Asar prayers they will arrange online Islamic programs directly from Embassy on Zoom.
Provost Hostels thanked the delegation for their visit and kind words.
On this occasion, the Provost Men’s Hostels Dr. Ibrar Anver, CSO Col (R) Abdul Hakeem, RHTs Mr. Imran, Mr. Fida, Mr. Ali Asghar, Indonesian IIUI Students Union President, and office bearers were also present.
Later, a souvenir was presented by Col Dody to Provost Hostels.
