Uzbekistan keen to cement ties with Pakistan: President Shavkat
ISLAMABAD, MARCH 23 (DNA)- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his letter written to President Dr. Arif Alvi greeted him and Pakistani nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
The letter reads,” I would like to sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the National Day of your country-Pakistan Day and express my best wishes to friendly people of Pakistan.
He further said, he would like to emphasize that unique ancient history; similar cultural and spiritual values that are closely linked to the peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan still serve as a solid basis for our active dialogue.
“We are particularly pleased that large scale, long term and mutually beneficial relations between our brotherly countries have been rapidly developing in various fields in recent years.
Undoubtedly, the future highest level dialogue and negotiations with you will give an impetus to raise our partnership in political, trade-economic investment, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian spheres to a completely new level.
