DNA News Agency gets membership of CPNE
ISLAMABAD, FEB 18 (DNA) = The Diplomatic News Agency (DNA) has got membership of prestigious Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editor (CPNE). The CPNE is the only body of Pakistan that comprises Editor of publications and news agencies.
The CPNE in its letter dated February 12, 2020 stated that the organization was pleased to grant associated membership to Diplomatic News Agency (DNA).
The Council further stated it believed that DNA will support the CPNE in order to carry forward the agenda of press freedom.
It may be mentioned here that CENTRELINE magazine which is a sister publication of DNA news agency is full member of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS). The APNS is the body of owners of newspapers while the CPNE is the body of Editors of newspapers and news agencies.
DNA happens to be the youngest news agency of Pakistan, which started its journey in 2012. DNA is also included in the list of news agencies accreditated with Ministry of Information, Govt of Pakistan.=DNA
