Tashkent Institute of Irrigation included in the list of world’s best universities
The Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) for the first time has been included in the 2020 QS University Rankings: Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA).
According to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, this is the result of the ministry’s cooperation with leading international agencies such as Times Higher Education and QS for the last two years to enhance the international status of higher education institutions in the country.
The Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers is ranked among TOP-350 universities of Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the QS Rankings in terms of academic performance, employers’ ratings and scientific potential.
The Ministry is currently working with international experts to prepare the country’s leading higher education institutions for gradual inclusion in the international ranking.
Foreign experts selected 10 higher education institutions of the Republic and created relevant profiles on the basis of Times Higher Education and QS. Currently, experts are working closely with these 10 higher education institutions.
