Hujjaj advised to avoid excessive exertion, overeating
MAKKAH, July 28 (DNA): Head Pakistan Medical Mission Makkah Dr Asif Ali has urged the intending pilgrims to avoid excessive exertion, eat balanced diet, consume
enough liquid, and take other precautionary measures against scorching heat to keep them fit for final Hajj rituals.
He said pilgrims can suffer from tiredness and sleep disorders due to excessive physical fatigue.
He said Hujjaj should take proper diet and ensure enough intakes of water to avoid dehydration.
Dr Asif Ali said a balance food full of all necessary nutrients is being served to Hujjaj to keep them healthy and physically fit.
However, overeating can cause health problems.
He said a large number of Pakistani pilgrims comprise elderly people, who need more care and Pakistan Medical Mission is providing maximum healthcare to the Hujjaj.=DNA
