Senior Pakistani delegation from the energy and mining sectors visiting the Kingdom
RIYADH (DNA) -A senior Pakistani delegation is visiting Saudi Arabia under the chairmanship of additional secretary of the Pakistani Ministry of Energy for Petroleum Affairs, Dr. Tenveer Qureshi. The delegation includes officials and experts from the energy and mining sectors in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The members of the Pakistani delegation held meetings with their Saudi counterparts to enhance prospects for relations in the fields of refining and mining. The visit comes after the signing of a number of important agreements and memorandums of understanding between Riyadh and Islamabad during the recent visit of His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to Pakistan in a number of important fields, including refining, petrochemicals, mining, renewable energy, electricity and financing Pakistan’s supply of crude oil and petroleum products including LNG.
It is worth mentioning that the visit of the Pakistani delegation, which will last for six days, interspersed with discussions and preparation of feasibility studies of some mega projects in Pakistan. During the visit, the delegation will also be acquainted with some of the experiences, experiences and achievements of the Kingdom by visiting some of the mega projects in several parts of the Kingdom.
