Dr. Firdous vows to establish strong relations with media
ISLAMABAD, APR 20 (DNA): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said she believes in team work and would take along all the stakeholders to run the affairs of her portfolio.
She said strong relations would be established with media and attached departments of information ministry while media would be given its due rights.
Firsdous Ashiq Awan said the reshuffling of ministers has been done on the basis of performance.
She said it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister to give responsibility to anyone he deems fit for the job.
The Special Assistant said it is for the first time in history of Pakistan that a Prime Minister has preferred national interest over personal interest by changing portfolios of ministers and removing some others.
She said the Prime Minister is ready to take any step to meet the current challenges being faced by the country.=DNA
