NAB suspends its Lahore Deputy Director
ISLAMABAD, APR 22 (DNA) – Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal Chairman NAB has suspended Ramzan, Deputy Director NAB Lahore on the charges of alleged Inefficiency and negligence in performance of official duties with immediate effect.
An inquiry has been ordered for completion of all codal formalities including opportunity to Mr. Ramzan DD NAB Lahore to defend charges against him as per law.
Moreover, formal inquiry has been started against Kashif Mumtaz Gondal Deputy Director Sukkur who was suspended on the direction of Chairman NAB for three months on the alleged charges of misconduct.
Moreover, On the direction of worthy chairman NAB, NAB had proceeded against 85 officers/officials of NAB. Out of 85 officers/officials of NAB, 23 officers/officials were awarded major penalty of removal from service, 32 officers/officials were awarded minor penalty.
Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that self accountability is very necessary towards adoption of “Accountability for All”. NAB absolutely committed for eradication of corruption from the country across the board.
