Amnesty scheme an attempt to turn black money into white: Khan
ISLAMABAD, APR 05 (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has decided to strongly resist federal government’s tax amnesty scheme terming it an attempt to pave the way to whiten black money.
According to the details furnished by party’s Central Media Department senior PTI leader and Member National Assembly Asad Umer has slammed government for proposing amnesty scheme.
“National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Finance unanimously passed resolution against Amnesty Scheme”, said Umer. Despite the resolution, he went on adding that braggarts of “sanctity of vote” are so oblivious to the sanctity and dignity of the parliament.
“Discounting parliamentary resolutions and shamelessly announcing amnesty scheme, brings into open PMLN government’s intentions to whiten nation’s looted money by plunderers”, Asad Umer lamented.
He marked that this is in real sense disrespect and humiliation of nation’s vote. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, he added, will strongly oppose the vile attempts of government to whiten looted money and will continue its struggle against such autocratic trends.
