PML-N not considering new PM, Nisar rift mere assumption: Kh Asif
SIALKOT, JUL 22 (DNA) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif held a media talk in his hometown on Saturday where he stressed that the ruling party is not considering a new Prime Minister.
Khawaja Asif added that the reports of rift between PML-N and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar were mere assumptions as nothing as such happened in real.
Supreme Court admitted there is no corruption scandal on PM Nawaz and now it is the turn of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to prove his innocence, he said.
He took a shot at the PTI Chief and said Nawaz Sharif has already presented his documents before Supreme Court twice and now Imran Khan is the one who is running from accountability. “Imran Khan should also explain to nation how divorced wives send millions and billions for buying property,” he stated.
While recalling his conflict with Imran, Kh Asif said he had filed a Rs 10 billion defamation notice against me and his counsel was absent from the hearing till date. He made it clear that PML-N is not expecting PM’s disqualification in Panama implementation case.
Kh Asif said the PML-N government had delivered in its tenure and relies on the public support for 2018 general elections.=DNA
