‘50,000 scholarships to be given to deserving students under Ehsaas Program’

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday has announced to give fifty thousand scholarships to the deserving and eligible students under Ehsaas Program.
In a chain of tweets, the special assistant said that the promotion of uniform and quality education is the mission of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The scholarships will be awarded to the students whose family income is less than forty-five thousand rupees. Fifty percent quota will be fixed for women whilst two percent for the disabled students, she added.
Dr Firdous said the scholarships will envisage the provision of books, transport, accommodation and other facilities to the students.
The scholarship program will be applicable in all the public sector universities, she continued.
