27 suspects held in joint operation in Punjab: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, SEPT 30 (DNA)- Ensuring maintenance of law and order in Punjab, Pakistan Rangers in coordination with other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) arrested 27 suspects and recovered huge cache of illegal weapons from their possession during a joint operation in parts of the province.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Rangers along with police have carried out patrolling and flag marches in important areas of major cities and Quick Reaction Forces have been placed near sensitive areas.
Extensive Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) are being carried out in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Multan, DG Khan, Lahore, Sialkot, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.
