ECNEC approves $1784.93 mln ‘Emergency Plan for Polio Eradication’

ISLAMABAD, Sep 04 (DNA): The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) here on Monday approved the Emergency Plan for Polio Eradication (3rd revised) at a cost of USD 1784.93 million. IMF rejects Pakistan’s power relief plan

ISLAMABAD: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has turned down Pakistan government’s proposal designed to provide relief to the impoverished for exorbitant electricity bills, sources in the Finance Department said Monday. They said a consensus could not be achieved with the IMF over the relief plan.
