SC directs govt to form ‘independent’ JIT to probe Arshad Sharif murder

ISLAMABAD: Hours after the government established a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe Arshad Sharif’s murder, the Supreme Court rejected it and asked a new “independent” body to be formed. “Federal government should immediately form a new investigation team. US continues to assist Pakistan in fight against covid-19-related illnesses
