Ismaili Imamat donates $10 million to Pakistan Flood Relief Efforts
Lisbon, Portugal: The Ismaili Imamat has announced it will be donating US$10 million to support relief efforts following the severe flooding in Pakistan. $5m will be donated directly to the Government of Pakistan while a further $5m will be provided to the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) agencies in the country, which are engaged in the relief efforts. UAE envoy calls on Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto
DNA Islamabad: Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Islamabad Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al Zaabi on Tuesday called on former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman PPP and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House. Both Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanked the UAE Ambassador for his country’s assistance to the flood-affected people in Pakistan.
