Kazi Asad nominated as APNS representative on the Commission for protection of journalists

KARACHI, SEPT 28 (DNA) – “The All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has nominated Kazi Asad Abid, Chief Editor, Ibrat Group of Publications as APNS representative on the Commission for the protection of journalists and media professionals. The Sindh Assembly has recently passed the Sindh Protection of Journalists and Media Practitioners Act 2021 which provides establishment of a Commission to oversee the implementation of the Protection of Journalists Act which consists of representatives of media organizations. Colombian major in charge of drug crackdown is killed

Bogota, Sept 28 : A Colombian army major in charge of drug eradication in one of the country’s biggest coca-growing regions has been killed, the military said Monday.
