PM Imran to attend SCO summit in Dushanbe
Staff Report ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will be paying a two-day official visit to Tajikistan on the invitation of President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan on 16-17 September 2021. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level Ministerial delegation. Govt decides to conduct matriculation, intermediate exams twice a year
Islamabad : Government has decided to conduct matriculation and intermediate level examinations twice a year, due to current Covid-19 situation. This was announced by Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood while talking about the important decisions taken in 32nd Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference, in Islamabad. He said the matriculation examinations will be held in May and June while intermediate exams in October and November. He said next academic year would start from August 22. LAHORE : Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Tuesday announced the suspension of gas supply to industrial units and compressed national gas (CNG) stations in Punjab and KPK from Wednesday (today). According to sources, the SNGPL has suspended gas supply to CNG stations and the non-export industrial sector for 48 hours. Covid-19 Positivity Ratio Falls Below 5pc In Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The COVID-19 positivity ratio has dropped down to 4.78 per cent during the last 24 hours in Pakistan. During the last 24 hours, 73 people lost their lives, lifting the overall death toll to 26,938. The daily tests conducted during the period to determine COVID-19 infections were 56,733 out of which 2,714 turned up positive.
