Islamabad: SEPT 1 /DNA/ -The relationship between Tehran and the Taliban was still evolving and the recent engagements were seemed to be a ‘makeshift arrangement’ said Prof. SM Farid Mirbagheri of Iran, adding that both Iran and Taliban remained at ideological odds on the issue of understanding and implementing the Islamic Sharia and the recent change in Iran’s policy towards Taliban can be attributed to its domestic as well as foreign policy concerns. Pakistan desirous of coordinated strategy on Afghanistan: FM
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Pakistan is desirous of a coordinated strategy on Afghanistan. Talking to the media persons at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Wednesday after meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, he said Pakistan’s positive role in the Afghan peace process and its efforts for humanitarian assistance and evacuation of foreign nationals from Afghanistan is being appreciated. Inzamam’s son tests positive for coronavirus
Lahore : Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has isolated himself after his son tested positive for coronavirus. In his statement, Inzamam-ul-Haq said that his son cricketer Ibtisam-ul-Haq has tested positive for COVID-19 and has since been quarantined. All of the family members, except the boy, are healthy and taking precautionary measures, according to Inzamam-ul-Haq.
