Inquiry reveals why chicken, egg prices went up in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, May 10 (DNA): The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP)has revealed that 19 poultry feed companies have been involved in “pricecoordination” which led to repeated increase in prices of chicken andeggs. An inquiry conducted by the CCP stated, “Poultry feed comprisesapproximately 76-80 % of the cost of broiler meat and eggs. Al-Aqsa Mosque director calls for help from Islamic world
The director of East Jerusalem‘s Al-Aqsa Mosque appealed via loudspeakers for help from the Islamic world amid Israeli police incursion into the holy site.
