NCOC announces fresh restrictions
ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday announced fresh restrictions, as the third wave of the virus intensifies in Pakistan and other parts of the world. The NCOC placed a ban on outdoor dining in restaurants and has said schools will be closed in cities where the coronavirus positivity ratio is above 5%. Assembly session adjourned without discussing resolution about the expulsion of the French ambassador ISLAMABAD: The lower house of Pakistan’s parliament has been adjourned for an indefinite period without discussing or approving a resolution to expel the French ambassador. ISLAMABAD: The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) based weekly inflation during the first week of holy month of Ramzan, for the combined consumption group, witnessed decrease of 0.40 percent as compared to the previous week.
